Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in California seeks a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor and District Leader. You will complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days to deepen knowledge of store operations, patient safety, and drug utilization reviews.

As part of the pharmacy team, you will assist with dispensing, ensure safe and accurate handling of prescriptions, and contribute to empathetic patient care.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure that prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
• Support immunizations and other pharmacy services as allowed by law and under supervision
