Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service. You will complete a structured 120-day training roadmap, under supervision, to prepare for a Pharmacist role.

You will learn SOPs, contribute to patient safety, and gain exposure to drug utilization reviews, immunization support, and clinical activities across a retail setting.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program before starting the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly, prescriptions filled safely and accurately, and patient service exceeds expectations.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Learn to counsel patients and take telephonic prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Support immunizations, point-of-care testing, and other services where allowed by state law.
