Job summary

CVS Health in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role. You will work under supervision to complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days and support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service.

You will learn to follow SOPs, assist with immunizations when allowed, and grow clinically and technically while traveling to stores as needed for business

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program before starting the program.
• Must obtain pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend to regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment and patient service under supervision.
• Follow SOPs and contribute to patient safety and quality assurance.
