Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program at our Retail locations. You will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice under a preceptor, with a 120-day training roadmap to prepare for a Pharmacist role.

You’ll develop patient-safety skills, engage in SOPs, and collaborate with pharmacy teams to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions while delivering compassionate service across all patient interactions.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program; eligible for post-graduate training within CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe (120-day roadmap).
• Support pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, promptly, and accurately.
• Assist in counseling and answering patient questions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient privacy and safety in all interactions.
