Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams, apply classroom learning to real-world practice, and progress toward Pharmacist licensure. Under a preceptor and district leadership, you will follow a 120‑day training roadmap, learn SOPs, and help ensure safe and accurate dispensing while delivering caring service to patients.

You may assist with immunizations, drug utilization review, and other pharmacy services as you gain responsibility, with opportunities to travel

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Demonstrate patient safety focus and accurate prescription labeling.
• Assist pharmacists and technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations and patient service.
• Deliver immunization and other patient health services where allowed by law and training.
• Provide counseling and collect patient history information to support care decisions.
• Support inventory tasks and coaching of team members as directed by leadership.
• Adapt to scheduling and market needs to maintain a safe, inclusive team environment.
