Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role. You will follow a comprehensive 120‑day training roadmap and work with a pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment while delivering caring service.

As you progress, you’ll support immunizations, participate in patient safety initiatives, and expand clinical knowledge under a licensed pharmacist, in a dynamic retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure that pharmacy operations run smoothly, prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Learn to operate as part of the pharmacy team through SOPs, best practices, and effective communication.
• Deliver additional patient health care services (e.g., immunizations, point-of-care testing) where allowed by law.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores in the market to work shifts as needed.
