Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply their didactic learning in real-world practice within a CVS Pharmacy setting. Under supervision, you will follow a 120-day training roadmap to deepen knowledge of store, district, and regional operations while ensuring patient safety and high‑quality service.

You will gain hands-on experience in immunizations, DUR, SOP compliance, and patient communication, progressing toward greater responsibility as readiness increases.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately and promptly.
• Counsel patients and respond to basic medical questions under supervision.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support store operations as needed.
