Job summary

CVS Health is seeking Graduate Pharmacy Interns to support pharmacy teams in a fast-paced retail setting. The program emphasizes learning, patient safety, and responsible practice while preparing interns for increased responsibilities.

The role requires a PharmD from a US-accredited program, eligibility to obtain state pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, and current intern/technician licensure where needed. Regular weekend attendance is expected.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to Post-Graduate Training at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within state guidelines and timeframe.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Deliver friendly customer service and work well with the pharmacy team.
• Communicate clearly with patients and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
• Apply math to dispensing tasks and manage prescription quantities.
