Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a graduate pharmacist intern to join the pharmacy team under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will contribute to delivering safe, effective care to patients while upholding regulatory requirements and pharmacy standards.

The role emphasizes patient safety, customer service, inventory and workflow management, and participation in patient care programs. A PharmD from a US-accredited program and intern licensure are required or in progress; weekend availability

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate and licensure in progress as required by state
• Strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to complete required trainings within state guidelines and timeframe
• Regular and predictable attendance including weekends
• Mobility and physical requirements to perform duties

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacist and support pharmacy team in safe and effective operations
• Contribute to patient safety, regulatory compliance and quality assurance
• Provide excellent customer service and support in medication dispensing workflow
• Assist in inventory management, order processing and workflow optimization
• Engage in patient care programs to promote healthy outcomes
• Support pharmacy manager and staff development to strengthen team performance
