CVS Health’s Graduate Pharmacy Intern program offers hands-on learning within CVS stores, preparing interns to advance to pharmacist roles through a structured 120‑day roadmap that emphasizes patient safety, DUR, and professional standards.

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will support the pharmacy team by processing prescriptions, assisting customers, and learning to manage inventory and regulatory compliance while receiving mentorship from licensed pharmacists.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate, eligible for state licensure within required timeframe.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure.
• Demonstrated customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team in filling prescriptions accurately and promptly.
• Support patient care by answering questions and counseling under supervision.
• Maintain SOPs and comply with regulatory requirements to ensure patient safety.
• Assist with inventory, dispensing workflows, and immunization readiness when permitted.
