Job summary

Jefferson Health seeks adjunct faculty for its Graduate Programs within the Jefferson College of Nursing in Philadelphia. You will support clinical teaching, participate in orientation, and conduct site visits as a representative of JCN.

You will provide narrative summaries of student progress, give weekly feedback on clinical logs, and collaborate with preceptors to develop remediation plans when needed. Ongoing communication with faculty and the Senior Associate Dean is essential.

Qualifications

• Attend orientation and course/clinical teaching responsibilities.
• Provide narrative summaries of site visits and student progress.
• Give weekly evaluative feedback on clinical logs and remediation plans as needed.
• Maintain ongoing communication with course faculty and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Attend orientation sessions and fulfill course and clinical teaching duties.
• Visit clinical sites and report progress and preceptor impressions to faculty.
• Provide ongoing feedback on student clinical logs and performance.
• Coordinate with preceptors to ensure student remediation when needed.
• Communicate issues with clinical sites to leadership and faculty.
• Assist with completion of student evaluations by preceptors.
