Job summary

The Jefferson College of Nursing at Jefferson Health is seeking a Clinical Adjunct Instructor to provide high-quality clinical instruction and supervision to nursing students across diverse clinical settings. The role emphasizes applying theory to practice, assessing student performance, and supporting the clinical component of the program.

Applicants should have a BSN with a Master's preferred or be enrolled in a MSN program, and possess BLS/ACLS certification along with PA licensure

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Master's in nursing highly preferred; candidates without a master's must be enrolled in a master's program.
• BLS and/or ACLS certification required
• Eligible for licensure to practice professional nursing in PA or Compact License
• Previous teaching experience preferred
• Uses contemporary teaching methodologies in classroom, lab/simulation, and clinical settings

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical instruction and supervision to nursing students in various clinical settings.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with nursing program faculty to support clinical components of the program.
• Foster a supportive learning environment and uphold program quality values.
