Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a registered nurse to join the Cardiac Medical Unit (Stroke/Dialysis). You will assess patients, plan and implement care, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care on a designated stroke floor.

The role requires RN licensure, completion of residency, and ACLS certification preferred. You will work in a 35-bed unit with RNs, LPNs, and staff, contributing to Freeman’s Five Star Promise.

Qualifications

• Eligible to sit for state boards (RN).
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Must successfully complete RN residency.
• Must obtain RN license in Missouri or compact state within 90 days of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of patients and families.
• Plan and implement interventions; evaluate effectiveness and adjust plans as needed.
• Provide safe and effective care under supervision.
