Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Pulmonary Unit on a part-time days schedule (7am-7pm). You will collaborate with hospitalists, pulmonologists and respiratory therapists to deliver high-quality care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory issues.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, maintaining standards of practice and contributing to a positive care environment within the Pulmonary Unit.

Qualifications

• RN license required in Georgia.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred.

The clinical staff on the growing Pulmonary Unit work closely with hospitalists, pulmonologists and respiratory therapists to provide top-notch care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory issues.In the state-of-the-art new Main Tower, the Pulmonary nurse provides high-quality nursing care to acute care patients utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care of patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The Pulmonary nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

• Patient ratios are determined by various factors, including volume and acuity of patient needs. Extenuating circumstances may determine a need for lower or higher ratios

RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License.
