Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a part-time Pulmonary Unit Staff Nurse for day shifts (7am–7pm). The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care to patients with respiratory conditions, collaborating with hospitalists and respiratory therapists, and ensuring safe, standards-driven care in a state-of-the-art setting.

Qualifications include RN licensure in Georgia and a nursing degree. Sign-on bonus is available, and experience in acute care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Active RN license in Georgia (state licensure) or NLC/eNCL multistate license.

Overview

ATHENS, GA Pulmonary Unit Part time Days 7am-7pm Sign-on Bonus Available $ The clinical staff on the growing Pulmonary Unit work closely with hospitalists, pulmonologists and respiratory therapists to provide top-notch care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory issues.

In the state-of-the-art new Main Tower, the Pulmonary nurse provides high-quality nursing care to acute care patients utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care of patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The Pulmonary nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
