Baptist Health Shelby Hospital in Alabaster, AL is seeking a Graduate Nurse to join our acute care team in a full-time evening shift (7p-7A). The role provides bedside patient care in an inpatient/observation setting under supervision, with opportunities to develop clinical skills and participate in a Nurse Residency program.

You will work on a 252-bed facility that delivers advanced services and collaborates with a dedicated care team to support patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate Nurse eligibility and licensure requirements per Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Authorized to practice as a Graduate Nurse and hold a Graduate Nurse letter.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and adherence to Nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Administers bedside patient care under supervision of preceptor or charge nurse.
• Develops and revises individualized plans of care based on patient needs.
• Assesses patient needs and evaluates progress toward outcomes.
• Communicates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrates nursing skills and cares for patients across age groups.
• Documents care and ensures patient safety and regulatory compliance.
