Job summary

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a Graduate Medical Education Coordinator II to provide leadership and day-to-day management of the residency education program.

You will assist the Physician Program Director, Chief Residents, trainees, and act as liaison between attending physicians, residents, medical students and administration. The role ensures compliance with ACGME standards and other regulatory requirements, and you may act in the Program Director's absence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience at GME Coordinator I or 3 years of direct GME/Residency related experience OR Associate's degree and 5 years of experience at GME Coordinator I or 5 years direct GME/Residency related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, leadership, and day-to-day management of educational activities for the GME program.
• Assist the Physician Program Director, Chief Residents/Fellows, residents/fellows and serve as a liaison between attending physicians, trainees, medical students, and administration.
• Ensure compliance with ACGME accreditation standards and other regulatory requirements; act in the absence of the Physician Program Director within authority limits.
