Northeastern University is hiring a Graduate Financial Aid Counselor to advise graduate students and families on aid options, verification, and disbursement processes. You will review applications, appeals, and coordinate with registrar, student accounts, and other offices to ensure timely funding.
The role requires knowledge of Title IV regulations and strong communication skills, with experience in PowerFAIDs, Banner, and Microsoft Office.
With a focus on D'Amore-McKim School of Business graduate programs,advise and counsel full- and part-time students and their familieson the availability of financial aid, the delivery process forreceiving it, and the reconciliation processes required to insurethat financial aid funds are transferred to students' accounts.Review student applications, perform verification procedures,review/evaluate appeals, and intercede for students withparticipating departments (School administrators, student accounts,registrar, and co-op).
