Job summary

Halff is seeking new graduates to join our Richardson, TX office as a Graduate Scientist I, Environmental/Staff Geologist I. You will collaborate on Phase I and Phase II projects, support field investigations, and coordinate with clients while training toward a Professional Geoscientist in training (GIT).

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Geology or Environmental majors, are willing to travel, and eager to develop reporting and regulatory documentation skills alongside a team of experienced

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related field; Master's or Ph.D. is a plus.
No experience required; internship is a plus.
GIT will be obtained within the four years.
Ability to access federal facilities or CAC.

Responsibilities

Collaborate on field investigations, including environmental media sampling and groundwater monitoring.
Support documentation and reporting for regulatory programs (RCRA, CERCLA).
Complete Phase I and Phase II projects.
Support field efforts for DoD installations/bases.
Prepare Phase I ESA/Phase II reports and QA plans.
