Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking a Graduate Scientist I / Staff Geologist I / Environmental Engineer in Richardson, TX.

You will collaborate with senior geologists on Phase I and II projects, support field investigations, and assist in client communications and reporting to progress environmental remediation efforts. The role emphasizes learning and professional development, with opportunities to obtain a Geoscientist in Training (GIT) credential within four years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related field; MS/PhD a plus.
• No experience required; internship is a plus.
• GIT (Geoscientist in Training) expected within four years.
• Ability to access CAC and travel for fieldwork as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on field investigations including environmental sampling and site characterization.
• Support regulatory documentation and reporting (RCRA/CERCLA) for environmental projects.
• Complete Phase I and Phase II projects.
• Provide field support for DoD installations and sites.
• Assist with Phase I ESA/Phase II reports and QA/QC plans.
