Job summary

Halff is seeking new graduates who will graduate in December 2026 or May 2027 for an entry level Environmental Scientist in our Dallas, TX office. The ideal candidate will bring experience in completing environmental field data collection activities, with growth potential and ownership in the firm.

The successful candidate will collect flora and fauna data, assist with permit applications, and collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop environmental solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, environmental science, natural resources management, or related field.
• Experience collecting flora and fauna data and translating it into natural resource reports.
• Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform field work to collect samples, conduct surveys and analyze data.
• Assist with permit applications and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to implement environmental solutions.
• Provide support to multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project success.
• Travel and adapt to outdoor conditions; lift up to 40 pounds.
