Job summary

WGA, LLC is seeking a Graduate Engineer in the Houston office to support multidisciplinary projects from planning through delivery. You will prepare proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates, coordinating with teams and clients to ensure technical and quality requirements are met.

• EIT license required; or able to receive within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals, scopes of work and contract cost estimates for projects.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure technical, quality and client requirements.
• Devise alternative approaches and solutions to problems.
• Plan, analyze, design, estimate, contract, manage projects through delivery phases.
• Build and maintain relationships between project teams and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with outside sub-consultants as needed.
• Prepare reports to communicate project information to team members, clients and stakeholders.
• Handle multiple projects within a multi-disciplinary team and maintain office attendance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related engineering discipline

Responsibilities

As a Graduate Engineer in the Houston office, you will:

• Prepare proposals, scopes of work and contract cost estimates and requires an understanding of multi-disciplinary team coordination
• Devises alternative approaches and solutions to problems
• Engineering planning, analysis, design, estimating, contracting, project management, construction and delivery phases.
• Building and maintaining relationships between project teams and collaborating to ensure that technical, quality, cost and client requirements are implemented
• Coordinating with outside sub-consultants, as needed
• Preparing a range of reports to communicate project information to team members, clients, and other stakeholders
• Works closely with project team
• The candidate will handle multiple simultaneous projects, within a multi-disciplinary team
• Maintain regular and prompt attendance at WGA office
• Perform other duties as assigned
