Job summary

Ward Getz & Associates LLC (WGA) in Texas seeks a Graduate Engineer to join a dynamic civil engineering consulting team. The role focuses on early career growth through hands-on design, planning, and project coordination across diverse projects.

You will support proposals, scopes, cost estimates, and multidisciplinary collaboration while building strong client and municipal relationships. A path toward licensure is provided within a growing firm with broad opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • EIT licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
  • 0–2 years of direct engineering experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare proposals, scopes of work and contract cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams on projects.
  • Engineering planning, design, estimating, contracting, and project delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with project teams and clients.
  • Coordinate with outside sub-consultants when needed.
  • Prepare reports communicating project information to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the project team and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare proposals, scopes of work and contract cost estimates and require an understanding of multi-disciplinary team coordination.
  • Devises alternative approaches and solutions to problems.
  • Engineering planning, analysis, design, estimating, contracting, project management, construction and delivery phases.
  • Building and maintaining relationships between project teams and collaborating to ensure that technical, quality, cost and client requirements are implemented.
  • Coordinating with outside sub-consultants, as needed.
  • Preparing a range of reports to communicate project information to team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Work closely with project team.
  • Handle multiple simultaneous projects, within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other related engineering discipline
  • EIT license; or able to receive within 6 months of employment
  • 0-2 years of direct experience
