Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking new graduates for a Graduate Engineer I, Structural in Fort Worth or Houston, TX. The role targets individuals with 0–2 years of structural experience and a drive to grow in building and bridge design projects.

Candidates will work under senior staff, attend client and internal meetings, and provide CAD support. Texas EIT or ability to obtain, and FE exam status, are important. December 2025 or May 2026 graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelors and Masters in Civil or Architectural engineering with a Structural emphasis.
• Current Texas EIT license or ability to obtain within 2 years of employment.
• FE exam passed or within 6 months of starting position.
• Up to 2 years of experience on structural projects is a plus.
• MicroStation, Revit or AutoCAD training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design part or all of projects such as buildings, hydraulic structures, retaining walls, and vehicular bridges
• Review contractor submittals during construction
• Work under the guidance of senior staff
• Attend meetings with clients as well as in-house engineers and architects
• Provide CAD assistance when necessary

Graduate Engineer I, Structural

Halff is seeking New Graduates who will graduate in December 2026 or May 2027 for a Graduate Engineer I, Structural in either our Fort Worth or Houston, TX locations. This position is for a new graduate or individual with 0 to 2 year of experience in Structural Engineering interested in working on building and bridge design projects. What you will do:
