Job summary

Walter P Moore in Orlando invites new civil engineers to join our Construction Engineering Services team within the Structures Group. As a Graduate Engineer, you will work on projects for contractors and fabricators, analyzing structures at various construction stages and helping develop construction sequencing.

You'll contribute to steel design and temporary structures, gain exposure to Tekla and BIM workflows, and collaborate with project managers across commercial, sports, aviation,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural.
• EIT certification not required but preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Tekla and BIM is preferred.
• Demonstrated strength in steel design, steel connection design and structural analysis.
• SAP 2000 modeling experience.
• Internships/work with contractors, steel fabricators, or steel erectors strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate structures at different stages of construction.
• Develop construction sequencing for complex structures.
• Design temporary structures to support construction and steel connections.
• Collaborate on project design teams across architectural projects (commercial, sports, aviation, healthcare, education, cultural).
