Job summary

Walter P Moore is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our Construction Engineering Services team within the Structures Group. The role involves analyzing structures at construction stages and developing sequencing for complex projects.

You will contribute to steel connection design, temporary structure analysis, and collaborate with project managers on architectural projects. A strong foundation in steel design and BIM tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural.
• EIT certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Tekla and Building Information Modeling (BIM) is preferred.
• Demonstrated strength in steel design, steel connection design and structural analysis.
• SAP 2000 modeling experience.
• Work experience/internships with contractors, steel fabricators, or steel erectors strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate structures at different stages of construction.
• Develop construction sequencing for complex structures.
• Analyze and design temporary structures to support construction.
• Design steel connections and perform structural analysis.
• Collaborate with Project Manager on project design teams.

Education

Master's in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural
