Position Overview:

We are seeking a driven Graduate Engineer to join our civil engineering team. This role is ideal for a recent civil engineering graduate eager to apply practical knowledge to real world projects. You will gain exposure to every phase of engineering design and permitting in land development — from early entitlements and conceptual planning through design development, permitting, and construction. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, collaborative, and a natural problem solver, ideally with previous engineering internship experience and foundational knowledge of design and familiarity with permitting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the design and production of civil engineering drawings, including site dimensional plans, site grading, utility design, and stormwater management.
  • Prepare permit applications, calculations, and reports under the guidance of a licensed engineer.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and project co-consultants to ensure high-quality deliverables and effective project coordination.
  • Participate in project scheduling and task tracking to meet deliverable deadlines.
  • Attend meetings with regulatory agencies or clients to gain exposure to the design and permitting processes.
  • Support construction phase activities such as submittal reviews, field observations, and contractor coordination.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Previous internship or co-op experience in civil engineering preferred.
  • Foundational knowledge of design for civil engineering projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with local jurisdictions such as City of Austin, Travis County, and Williamson County.
  • Proficiency or familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
  • Enthusiasm for problem-solving and a willingness to learn quickly.
What We Offer:
  • Performance-based bonuses.
  • Flexible and hybrid work schedule.
  • 401(k) with company contribution.
  • Professional development support, training programs, and mentorship opportunities.
