Placements24 invites applications for a Graduate Electrical Engineering Technician to join our client’s on-site operations in Upington, Northern Cape. You will assist with installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems in solar plants, under supervision of senior engineers and technicians.

You will gain hands-on experience, develop practical skills, and contribute to safe, reliable electrical infrastructure in a growing renewable energy environment.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
• Solid understanding of electrical principles, power systems, and control circuits.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work on-site in Upington and potentially in challenging environmental conditions.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities
