Job summary

National University of Singapore's Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine invites an Assistant Manager to oversee postgraduate programmes for a 2-year contract. You will lead the DGMS team, manage examinations, and drive continuous improvement while mentoring two direct reports.

In AY26, two new programmes launch and you will co-lead marketing, outreach, and partnerships across digital platforms, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Some weekends required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in any discipline.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is advantageous.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Strong problem-solving and quick thinking.
• Supervisory experience in managing a team.
• 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Meticulous with customer orientation and multitasking.
• Proficient in Excel formulas for marks algorithm.
• Willing to work around ~20 weekends per year and occasional after hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Graduate Diploma Team across 8+ programmes.
• Guide Exam and Programme Committees on governance; vet minutes and reports for accuracy.
• Coach, develop, and performance-manage two direct reports.
• Co-lead marketing and outreach—identifying publicity channels and digital platform partnerships.
• Liaise daily with Finance, Legal, Registrar's Office, MOH, AMS, hospitals and overseas counterparts.
• Expect approximately 20 working weekends per year during examination and programme peaks.
