Job summary

Jacksonville State University seeks a Graduate Administrative Assistant in the Career Technical Education & Professional Studies Department. The GAA will support faculty with data collection, organization, and analysis, assist on special projects, and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Positions depend on being a degree-seeking graduate student, with active enrollment during the term. Trainees may also receive a scholarship up to $4,386.00 and a biweekly payroll for up to 320

Qualifications

• Must be a degree-seeking graduate student at JSU.
• Must be actively enrolled in a graduate degree program during the assistantship semester.
• Must hold the minimum required GPA for the student’s enrolled degree program.
• Must enroll in six to nine graduate semester hours during fall/spring or six to nine hours in full summer term.

Responsibilities

• Assist Administrative Staff with collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
• Assist with special projects.
• Additional duties as required by the department.
