Job summary

Jacksonville State University is seeking a Graduate Administrative Assistant in the College of Education & Professional Studies. The role supports faculty and staff with data collection, organization, and analysis, and assists with special projects and other duties.

Positions depend on student eligibility and department needs. The GA will be paid hourly and work 20 hours per week during fall/spring and may work full summer term. Scholarships up to $4,386 per semester supplement the pay.

Qualifications

• Must be classified as a degree-seeking graduate student at JSU.
• Must be actively enrolled in a graduate degree program at JSU during the assistantship semester.
• Must hold the minimum required GPA for the student’s enrolled degree program.
• Must be enrolled in six to nine graduate semester hours in the fall or spring semester (or six to nine in full summer term).
• Note: international graduate assistants must meet additional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist Administrative Staff with collecting, organizing, and analyzing various types of data or information.
• Assist with special projects.
• Additional duties as required by the department.
