TikTok is seeking an intern data engineer to join the Global Live team in San Jose. You will help build, optimize, and grow one of the world's largest data platforms while gaining hands-on experience with modern data technologies and applications including language models for data.

As an intern, you will work on designing easy-to-use data solutions, collaborating with data engineers and business teams worldwide to enable data discovery, usage guidance, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to translate business needs into data metrics.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data system design.
• Experience with coding (SQL, Python) and data tools creation.
