Halff is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer I for their Public Works team in Little Rock, AR. The role supports design and production of municipal construction plans under the guidance of Professional Engineers, with emphasis on collaboration and growth.

Ideal candidates are New Graduates (Dec 2026 or May 2027) who can contribute to roadway, drainage, pipeline, parks, and site design while developing CAD/Civil 3D skills and effective communications with diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and tools.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment in civil-related construction or repair.
• Able to balance multiple objectives and make good decisions.
• Technical experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering team to solve design challenges and produce construction plans for local infrastructure projects.
• Use design software and drafting tools to display calculations, layouts, and concepts for construction plans.
• Draft reports and present plans to audiences with varying technical backgrounds.
• Estimate construction costs and quantities, perform site visits, and review submittals.
