Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Little Rock, AR to lead design and construction of infrastructure projects.

The candidate will oversee teams of engineers, CAD designers, and EITs, manage client relationships across Arkansas, and contribute to business development. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in public works, roadway, land development, drainage, and water/wastewater design, plus a PE license in Arkansas or transferable within 2 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or ABET-equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arkansas, or transferable within 2 months.
• 10+ years in public works, municipal roadway, land development, drainage, detention, water/wastewater utility design.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Experience in project scope development and staffing projections.
• Experience in leading project proposals as the lead PM.
• Ability to train and mentor staff.
• Proficient in project management, administration, and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver projects with the Team Leader.
• Manage design and construction of infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrate strong design and PM experience and knowledge of working with local entities.
• Lead and supervise engineers, engineers-in-training, and CAD designers.
• Maintain and grow client relationships across Arkansas.
• Engage in professional organizations for Public Works.
• Manage design and plan production and supervise staff across practices/offices.
