Job summary

Responsibilities include CAD work, design calculations, plan reviews, bid support, and collaboration with consultants, contractors, and the public. A BS in Civil Engineering is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an Accredited Engineering College or University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in engineering principles and plan review and inspection processes.
• Experience with CAD software and GIS is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and oversight for CIP and private development projects.
• Inspect construction projects for compliance with plans, standards, and regulations.
• Assist in planning, design, and evaluation of construction projects with data collection and cost estimates.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Participate in bid processes, review consultants' bids, and prepare bid evaluations.
• Develop technical standards, calculations, and data analyses.
