Job summary

HTU in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Civil Engineering professional to join our land development team. The role focuses on reviewing ordinances and regulations, performing site evaluations, and supporting design initiatives for permitting and construction.

You will contribute to site layout, grading, utilities, and stormwater management design, prepare permit applications, and generate engineering reports to demonstrate regulatory compliance. Collaboration and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• FE / EIT certification preferred.
• Experience with land development projects is a plus.
• Exposure to infrastructure design and stormwater management design is advantageous.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team with minimal supervision.

• Contribute to site design initiatives including site layout, grading, and utilities.
• Assist with Stormwater Management initiatives, including stormwater conveyance and basin design.
• Support the Design team in preparing plans for permitting and construction.
• Prepare permit applications and engineering reports demonstrating compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
• Perform design quantity take-off estimations and develop construction cost opinions.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.

About You
