The role involves grading, drainage, permitting coordination, reports, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates should have a degree in civil engineering and be licensed or in training as EIT/PE, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 2–20 years of civil engineering experience, preferably with land development or site design.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• EIT certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with land development, site design, grading, drainage, and utility design.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal design standards and permitting requirements.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar civil design software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a project team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop civil/site plans for land development projects
• Prepare grading, drainage, utility, erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management plans

• Manage project tasks, schedules, and deliverables as experience level allows
• Support senior engineers and project managers on larger or more complex projects
