Job summary

TikTok is hiring for a graduate-level engineer to join the Global Engineering CDN team in Seattle. You will help build, operate, and continuously improve a high-performance, multi-cloud CDN platform that supports both static content and dynamic acceleration across regions.

You'll work on domain onboarding, configuration management, content management, data analytics, and global traffic optimization while collaborating with software development and production operations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, Java, or C/C++.
• Strong foundation in data structures, OS, networks, and databases.
• Understanding of HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, TLS/certificates, caching, and Linux.
• Willingness to commit to onboarding date by year-end and provide graduation date.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development, operation, and continuous improvement of ByteDance's self-built CDN platform.
• Support internal service teams in onboarding, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Improve platform supportability, operational workflows, and tooling for large-scale CDN services.
• Contribute to CDN documentation, onboarding guides, references, and troubleshooting playbooks.
• Build CDN knowledge base to improve knowledge sharing and engineering efficiency.
