Job summary

TikTok is seeking graduates or soon-to-be graduates to join the Creation Platform backend team. You will design features for a global audience, collaborate with product and cross-functional teams, and tackle complex problems in a highly scalable multimedia infrastructure.

Applicants should be ready to onboarding by year-end and may apply to up to two positions. Strong programming skills in Golang, Java, C++, or Python and solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (or relevant work equivalence).
• Proficiency in Golang, Java, C++, or Python and strong foundations in architectures, data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with large-scale distributed backend services/consumer-facing platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directly design and develop features touching global users and bring real-world impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore innovative product ideas and technologies.
• Work with experts in various domains to solve challenging issues in multimedia infrastructure.
• Evolve the architecture of global large-scale distributed backend systems to support TikTok's future.
