Job summary

St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ is seeking a Graduate Cardiovascular Tech to support the cardiac catheterization laboratory under supervision. You will assist during diagnostic and interventional procedures and help ensure smooth daily lab operations.

Qualified candidates have completed an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program, plan to obtain RCIS within 12 months, and hold current BLS/ACLS certifications. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist program.
• Must obtain RCIS credential through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within twelve months of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Foundational understanding of human anatomy, cardiovascular physiology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to stand for long periods, wear heavy lead radiation protection aprons, and function calmly in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist the medical team during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Support the daily operations of the cardiac catheterization laboratory.

Education
