Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. is seeking a skilled professional to assist in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, circulating and monitoring during procedures and helping the cardiology team with sterile technique and instrument readiness.

The role requires specialized cardiovascular science training or radiologic technology background with cardiovascular experience, plus strong communication and critical thinking.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma in cardiovascular science or Specialized Diploma in radiologic technology with cardiovascular experience.
• Preferred Associate’s Degree in cardiovascular science or radiologic technology with cardiovascular experience.
• Experience with invasive cardiology or interventional radiology is advantageous.
• Must demonstrate decisive decision making and critical thinking in high-pressure clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the laboratory prior to and during procedures, circulating and supplying instruments and items as needed.
• Maintain sterility of the field and lab.
• Produce high-quality images and ensure proper transfer to the archive server.
• Collaborate with Cardiologist, nurse, and coworkers consistent with Jefferson Health values.
