Job summary

You will guide students through degree requirements, milestones, and program options while collaborating with faculty and industry partners to enhance internships and real-world learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in academic advising, academic counseling, teaching, or student affairs.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to explain complex academic policies clearly and empathetically.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
• Proficiency with student information systems, Microsoft Office applications, and related technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support graduate business students across MBA, specialized master’s, graduate certificate, accelerated pathways, and Executive DBA programs on degree requirements and milestones.
• Develop individualized academic success plans aligned with students’ educational, professional, and leadership goals.
• Monitor academic progress and student engagement; connect students with university resources to promote persistence and success.
• Create and implement student communications and outreach strategies for admissions, onboarding, registration, and graduation.
• Provide specialized residency and dissertation guidance for Executive DBA students and identify scholarship and fellowship opportunities.
