Arup is seeking a Graduate Bridge Engineer in Dallas, TX to contribute to structural analysis and design of bridges and related infrastructure. You will support FE modeling, prepare drawings and BIM models, and collaborate with geotechnical, civil, rail, marine, and construction specialists.

The role emphasizes strong academic background in bridge engineering, proficiency with design software, and clear written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

Masters level (or equivalent) in Structural or Civil Engineering
Concrete Design; Steel Design; Bridge Design; Structural Analysis; Finite Element Analysis
Strong academic background in structural analysis and design
Demonstrated interest in bridge engineering and transportation infrastructure
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design of bridges, retaining structures, and other transportation and energy infrastructure
Assist in developing design calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents
Support finite element modeling and structural analysis using industry-standard software
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical, civil, rail, marine, and construction specialists
Support preparation of drawings and BIM models using digital engineering tools
