Job summary

Arup in Houston is offering a graduate opportunity in structural engineering for ambitious new graduates. You will perform structural analysis and design of bridges, retaining structures, and transportation infrastructure, while supporting BIM and digital engineering workflows.

You'll collaborate with geotechnical, civil, rail, marine and construction specialists and prepare drawings and design calculations.

Qualifications

• Masters level in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Strong academic background in structural analysis and design.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of bridges, retaining structures, and other transportation and energy infrastructure.
• Assist in developing design calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Support finite element modeling and structural analysis using industry-standard software.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical, civil, rail, marine, and construction specialists.
• Support preparation of drawings and BIM models using digital engineering tools.
