Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Bridge Engineer in Houston, TX to contribute to multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. You will assist with analysis, design, detailing, inspection, and construction support across transportation and energy structures, while building technical and project delivery skills.

You will work with specialists in geotechnical, civil, rail, marine, and construction, and develop drawings and BIM models using digital tools.

Qualifications

• Masters level (or equivalent) in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Strong background in bridge design, structural analysis and FE analysis.
• Interest in transportation infrastructure and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of bridges, retaining structures, and other infrastructure.
• Assist in developing design calculations, reports, specs, and construction documents.
• Support FEM modeling and structural analysis using industry tools.
• Coordinate with geotechnical, civil, rail, marine, and construction teams.
• Support drawings and BIM models using digital engineering tools.
