Job summary

TikTok is seeking graduates to join the Privacy & Security Product team, delivering end-to-end privacy controls and data protection across markets. You will work on scalable backends, privacy-by-design, and high-performance systems for hundreds of millions of users.

Candidates should have a CS degree, strong backend language skills, and CS fundamentals. Onboarding by year-end is requested, with opportunities to grow and tackle challenging privacy infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in computer science, engineering or related field.
• Strong foundation in software engineering with one backend language (Go/Java/C/C++/Python).
• Deep CS concepts: data structures, algorithms, OS, networks, databases.
• Ability to analyze problems and translate them into technical designs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in architectural design and backend development of privacy controls.
• Build scalable mechanisms for data lifecycle protection and regional compliance.
• Design solutions and optimize high-concurrency systems with large traffic.
• Help establish coding standards, tests and quality controls.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on complex challenges.
• Conduct R&D on privacy-enhancing technologies to elevate security.
