Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Backend Software Engineer Graduate (Business Governance) in San Jose to contribute to Trust and Safety data platforms. You will participate in architecture design, implement data governance and BI support, and help optimize system performance in a collaborative team environment.

You should have a CS degree and experience with C++, Python, or Java, plus big data tools; communication and teamwork are essential, and ML knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with C++, Python, or Java.
• Proficient in server-side tech in distributed/high concurrency systems.
• Experience with big data systems (Spark/Flink/ClickHouse/HBase).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with data insight or ML is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in architecture design and implementation of data application platforms for Trust and Safety (TnS).
• Optimize data application architecture to improve stability and reduce storage/calculation costs.
• Design and implement data integration, offline/real-time development and BI analysis support.
• Mentor and coach team members to strengthen R&D capabilities.
