Job summary

Marshall University is seeking a Graduate Assistant for the BOLD Women’s Leadership Network to support program organization, communication, and mentor network development. The GA will connect scholars with mentors, manage outreach, and help plan events while working closely with the BOLD Director and Advisory Board.

The role emphasizes organizing calendars, collecting metrics, staffing events, and creating promotional materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Preferred 3.0 GPA.
• Detail-oriented with ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Organize program calendar across communication platforms.
• Collect and maintain program/event metrics.
• Set up, tear down, and staff program events.
• Design and distribute promotional materials (event graphics, Center Newsletter, etc.).
• Create and schedule social media content (Instagram, stories, reels, etc.).
• Organize and maintain a database of potential mentors with backgrounds and contacts.
