Barry University is seeking a Graduate Assistant to support the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) and the Institute for Immigration Studies. The role involves administrative, programmatic, and operational support, aiding events, professional development, digital platforms, and resource materials.

You will supervise undergraduate workers and contribute to grant applications and fundraising initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Education, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Leadership, Humanities, Computer Science, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred in the same fields.

Responsabilités

• Provide administrative support to CETL leadership, coordinate meetings and learning communities, maintain records and documentation.
• Support events for the Institute for Immigration Studies, including promotion, registration, catering, venue, and materials.
• Supervise and mentor undergraduate student workers; supervise Federal Work-Study students and plan team-building activities.
• Provide technical support for remote professional development programs using Teams and other videoconferencing tools.
• Maintain and update digital platforms and resources for CETL and IIS, including website content and Microsoft Teams channels.
• Assist in grant research, proposal preparation, and tracking of funding opportunities and submissions.
• Maintain shared spaces and program materials, manage supplies, and assist with purchasing processes.

Formation
