Job summary

Southern Nazarene University is seeking a graduate assistant coach for the Men’s & Women’s Rugby Program, competing in NCR DI. The successful candidate will have a mature, growing relationship with Christ and collegiate coaching/playing experience, and may lead the JV program if applicable while assisting the varsity coaching staff.

JOB SUMMARY

Southern Nazarene University is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a graduate assistant coach for the SNU Men’s & Women’s Rugby Program as it competes in the NCR DI category. The successful candidate will have a mature, growing relationship with Christ and collegiate coaching/playing experience. Applicants must be willing to lead our JV program if applicable and assist as a member of the varsity coaching staff in all areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Head Coach in providing leadership for the SNU Men’s & Women’s Rugby Program.
• Play an integral role in the day-to-day administrative responsibilities, player/team spiritual development, daily team training, evaluation and recruitment of student-athletes, academic monitoring, and skill development of players.
• This position must work within SNU and NCR guidelines to provide student-athletes with an exceptional collegiate experience while competing for championships.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

Receives supervision and work assignments from a designated supervisor, although other staff members in the unit may provide work direction.

May be responsible for the coordination of work assignments for student employees.
